The Fantastic Fur of Sea Otters

Even though sea otters have no blubber, unlike whales and other ocean mammals, they are still able to keep warm in the frigid Pacific waters. How do they do this? One reason is that sea otters have the thickest fur on the planet. That, combined with the air that gets trapped in the fur, helps to keep the animal warm. Watch this video to learn more about this fascinating animal.
