Ebola Protective Suit

This video from Johns Hopkins University shows undergraduates and others involved in a design challenge to create better personal protective equipment (PPE) for Ebola workers. The most recent Ebola outbreak resulted in more than 28,000 cases and 11,000 deaths. Many of those who died from the virus were healthcare workers. To try to remedy this situation, Johns Hopkins undergraduates worked alongside faculty and clinicians, bringing raw creativity and expertise together, allowing for the creation of something new.
