Introduction

Now that you have learned some more about Pluto and the difference between a planet and dwarf planet, you will engage in an activity to help you see for yourself the differences between planets and dwarf planets.

You should work with your group to create/or find the scaled objects for the solar system model you will create. Each person in your group should select objects from the Planet Boxes in your classroom. You should classify these objects according to their scale sizes. Use this chart to help you classify the objects. Once you've classified the objects, lay them out the way they are arranged in the solar system.
