Celebrate the Great Outdoors
June is Great Outdoors Month.
So designated by presidential proclamation, Great Outdoors Month is intended to celebrate the natural world and to encourage Americans to get outside and to uphold and engage in conservation efforts.
Included in the month are National Trails Day (June 2), National Fishing and Boating Week (June 2–10), National Get Outdoors Day (June 9), Outdoor Stewardship Week (June 11-15), and the Great American Campout (June 23).
